VESO Launches Tree Planting Campaign in Singida
Singida region is experiencing progressive desertification due to shifting weather and high wood fuel demands. VESO, in collaboration with the District Commissioner, has launched a campaign to plant 50,000 indigenous trees this wet season.
Local primary schools are participating as "Green Clubs" where students adopt and water trees daily, teaching ecological responsibility to the next generation.
